Homes continue to sell quickly
There were 2,531 central Ohio homes and condos sold during the month of March, a solid 50.8 percent increase over February and a 3.9 percent increase over the same month a year ago. This was the highest number of home sales on record for the month of March as well as the highest sales for the 1st quarter. Read more.

2017 Congressional Roundtable a tremendous success
Yesterday, over 130 Columbus REALTORS® members gathered for our 3rd Congressional Roundtable with Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Congressman Pat Tiberi and Congressman Steve Stivers. During this unique event, which is believed to be the only REALTOR® association in the country to conduct a bi-partisan roundtable with multiple Members of Congress, our members were briefed on federal issues relating to the real estate industry. Is that listing in contract already?
In today's hot market, many listings go in contract very quickly. Remember, it's more than just professional courtesy to accurately portray the property's status in the MLS, it is your obligation under the REALTOR Code of Ethics. Standard of Practice 3-6 clearly states that REALTORS shall disclose the existence of accepted offers, including those with unresolved contingencies, to any broker seeking cooperation.  Read more.

MLS won’t support Microsoft Vista as of 4/11/17
As many may have heard over the last few months, Microsoft has ended support for PC systems running Windows Vista on April 11, 2017. As such, Windows Vista will no longer receive software updates including security updates that protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software, which can steal your personal information. Not surprising, all major web browsers are no longer supporting Windows Vista either. As our MLS Software vendor, FBS, can only support Flexmls on up-to-date browsers, this means you won’t be able to get technical support from MLS Tech staff or FBS if you’re running on Microsoft Vista.
