The average sales price of a home during the month of May in central Ohio was $235,133, which is 3.8 percent more than May 2017 and the average monthly sales price on record. The median sales price was $204,000, up 7.4 percent from a year ago. This is also a record high, according to the Columbus REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service.
Brokerages assessments are due to the Ohio Division of Real Estate no later than June 30, 2018. Principal Brokers are required to submit the brokerage assessment annually if their brokerage has 11 or more salespeople, or has at least one branch office.

Over 550 local REALTORS®, family and friends cleaned, painted, pruned and planted this past Wednesday as part of the Columbus REALTORS®’ 14th annual REALTOR® Care Day, to impact 52 homes and organizations all over central Ohio!
The Showing Start Date field was added to our MLS almost 2 ½ years ago in December 2015. Implementation of the Showing Start Date field is a response to the “coming soon” marketing that is widely used across the country. It is also a policy clarification and addition to allow premarketing options for MLS listed properties. Members are now able to promote those listings “not quite ready for showing” while still entering them in MLS.

Columbus ranked No. 4 last month on Realtor.com's list of the nation's hottest housing markets based on how many hits each home listing gets as well as how quickly homes are selling. The national spotlight found the central Ohio area as showing activity increased 12 percent in April versus the previous month and homes spent just over a month (33 days) on the market during the month of April, according to the Columbus REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service.
