Realtor Safety Training

(3 CE credit hours for real estate licensees)

Columbus REALTORS® in partnership with Marysville Area Realty Association (MARA) is offering a safety training course given by the Alber Enterprise Center, The Ohio State University.

This three-hour interactive workshop will discuss key strategic safety principles for real estate agents. As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

• Gain an understanding of workplace violence
• Respond to an active shooter event
• Identify their risks and develop strategies to minimize their risks
• Prevent/mitigate, plan response and recover in the event of a criminal act

The presenter, Gary Sigrist, is a certified Department of Homeland Security trainer for both the Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER) and Screening of Persons through Observational Techniques (SPOT) organizations.

Cost: $10 if paid by 4/18/18; $20 on the day of class; a light breakfast will be provided

Seating is limited to the first 80 paid registrants
